Privacy Policy

Effective 2 August 2026

Dukto Link does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs in the app.

Your files never reach us

Transfers go directly from one device to another over your local network. There is no server in the middle, and no copy of anything you send or receive is kept anywhere outside the two devices involved. Dukto Link has no backend, and the developer has no way to see what you transfer.

What stays on your device

The following is stored only on your device, and is removed when you delete the app:

None of this is uploaded, backed up to a service run by the developer, or shared with anyone.

What is visible on your network

To find other devices, Dukto Link announces itself on the local network with the display name you set, your device’s hostname, and the platform (“iOS”). Any Dukto client on the same network can see this — that is how discovery works. Nothing leaves the local network.

Permissions the app asks for

Security

Dukto Link is designed for trusted local networks. Consistent with the original Dukto protocol, transfers are not encrypted and there is no authentication beyond your choice of recipient. Use it on networks you control, and avoid it on public Wi-Fi.

Children

The app is not directed at children, collects no data from anyone, and contains no ads or in-app purchases.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
